How to get your café found on Google
When someone searches for a coffee shop or a lunch spot near them, they pick from whatever Google shows first, and they decide in seconds. You do not need an agency to show up well. You need accurate basics, in the same words, everywhere.
1. Say the same thing everywhere
Your name, address, phone number and hours should match on your website, your social profiles and your Google Business Profile. When they disagree, search engines trust you less and customers get confused. Pick the exact spelling you want and copy it everywhere.
2. Claim your Google Business Profile
This is the free listing that shows your hours, photos and a map pin. Add your photos and your menu link, and keep your hours current, including holidays. Then add the link to your website in the Social links section of your Awwranges settings so visitors can find it from your site too.
3. Give each page a clear title and description
Search results show a title and a short description for every page. In Awwranges you can edit these on the SEO page for your home page, menu, about and contact pages. Write them the way a person would say it:
- Put your name and what you are, such as "Maple Street Café | Coffee and breakfast in Austin".
- Describe the page in one plain sentence, with your neighborhood or city in it.
- Keep titles short enough to read in full on a phone.
4. Put your menu on a real page
A menu in a photo or a PDF is hard for search engines to read and hard for people to use on a phone. A menu on a real web page, with item names and descriptions as text, gives Google something to understand and gives customers something they can order from.
5. Keep your website live and fast to open
Check that your site opens quickly on your own phone with a weak signal. Keep photos reasonable in size, and avoid putting everything on one huge page.
Check it like a customer would
Search for your own café name, then for what you sell plus your area. Open the result on your phone. If the hours are wrong, the menu is hard to find or the order button is missing, fix that first. Small, accurate details beat clever tricks.
Take orders on your own website.
Your menu, your customers, no commission on orders.
