How to move your regulars from delivery apps to your own site

Delivery apps are good at finding new customers. They are less good at keeping them loyal to you. The goal is not to quit them, it is to give your regulars an easy way to order from you directly.

Keep the apps, add your own link

Many cafés keep their app listings and add their own website next to them. In Awwranges your landing page shows your direct ordering button first, and your delivery app links under it, so a customer sees both and can choose.

Make your link easy to find

Put your website link where your customers already look:

  • the link in your social profile,
  • the counter and your takeout bags,
  • the receipt and the message you send after an order,
  • your Google Business Profile.

Give a reason to switch

People switch when it is easier or cheaper. Your own site can offer a welcome offer on a first direct order, a stamp card for repeat orders, and a menu that is always up to date. Say so plainly, in one short line.

Do not hide the apps

Some customers prefer the app they already use, and that is fine. Link to them honestly and focus on making your own site the easy choice for the people who already love you.

Say thank you

A short note in the bag, or a friendly word at the counter, goes a long way. "Next time, order straight from us" works better than any poster.

Tip: Look at which customers order from you most often. Those are the first people to tell about your own site.

Take orders on your own website.

Your menu, your customers, no commission on orders.
