Update your whole menu at once with a spreadsheet

Setting up a menu item by item is fine for a short list. If you have dozens of items, or a price change that touches many of them, a spreadsheet is faster and easier to check.

Start from the template

In the Menu page of your portal, download the template. It is a simple CSV file you can open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. Each row is one menu item, with columns for the category, item name, price, description, food type, dietary tags, allergens and whether it is available. One upload can hold up to 500 items.

Fill it in

  • Keep one item per row.
  • Use the same category name for items that belong together, so they group on your menu.
  • Enter prices as numbers such as 4.50. The dollar sign is optional.
  • Delete the sample row, or leave it, since it is skipped.

Upload and review before saving

Upload your file and the portal shows a preview first. You can see what will be added and spot any rows that need a fix before anything changes. When it looks right, confirm.

Check the result

After you confirm, you get a short summary by email, and your items appear in the menu. Open a few on your phone to make sure the names, prices and photos look right. You can add photos and customizations to individual items afterwards.

Tip: Keep a copy of your spreadsheet. Next time prices change, you can start from that file instead of from scratch.

Keep it tidy

Review your menu every few months. Remove items you no longer sell, fix names that run long and check that your allergens are up to date.
